The Vane Brothers' ATB tug Assateague is equipped with the JAK® 700 PHL-L
The Vane Brothers' ATB tug, the first in a series of three, tug Assateague, was launched in mid-February. All in all three tugs and barges will all be equipped with the JAK® 700 PHL-L Coupling System. The tugs are designed by Castleman Maritime and the barges by Bristol Harbor Group. Conrad Shipyard is building the tugs and barges for this project. The sister tugboats Chincoteague and Wachapreague will be launched later in 2018.
