The JAK® coupling system celebrates 10 years of action

The original JAK® coupling system by Beacon has reached an honorable age of 10 years. The system was assembled on K-Sea’s ATB "Kara Sea"&”Spring Creek” in 2001, and since then the vessel has among other things crossed the Atlantic Ocean for a total of six times. The original first generation version of the JAK® coupling system is still in use on the "Kara Sea"& “Spring Creek”. It served as a prototype for its successors, the current model being the third generation version.
